The Exam On
Demand System can be used in several different
modes.
ONLINE
- The exams are transmitted
over
the internet to a browser. In this way the students
only need their internet-browser to take an exam, and it is
very simple for a teacher to distribute exams, monitor exams
and gather
results.
OFFLINE
- An exam can be distributed via diskettes or CD's to remote
PC's. The exams are run and gathered on the remote PC, then
sent back either via e-mail or diskette to a central location.
They can then be gathered into a central results-database a
reliable and secure examination system available on a PC that
provides a wide coverage for all applications.
STANDALONE
- On a standalone PC for a single user. Exams can be run
on a PC without a WEB-browser like Netscape or
Internet-Explorer, and the PC does not need to be connected to
a network
LAN -
I.e. the typical office network. The same exam can easily be
run on several PC´s in the same network, and a teacher can
monitor all exams from a single PC. The process of
distributing exams is simple and gathering the students
results from the PC´s is fully automated
